Trisha Gupta

Trisha, is a marine conservationist studying shark and ray fisheries along the Indian coastline. She is interested in using interdisciplinary approaches for the conservation of marine life and ecosystems while balancing the livelihood needs of coastal communities.


Chetan Suresh Rao

Junior Program Officer, Dakshin Foundation

 Chetan is a wildlife biologist with an interest in ecology and evolutionary biology of reptiles.  

His research interests are to explore and understand sea snakes better.


Nupur Kale

Project Associate, WCS-India

 Nupur is interested in sea turtle biology and conservation. She has worked on olive ridley and green sea turtle research and conservation in India, Sri Lanka and Costa Rica. 

She spends few months of every year enjoying the beauty of the Lakshadweep islands.

Bharat S Ahuja

PhD Student, CES, Indian Institute of Science

 Bharath is interested in community ecology and how animals respond to anthropogenic stressors in their environments. 

He is all prepared to  dive into deeper waters where he hopes  to understand the mechanisms that initiate the formation of mixed species groups in reef fish.
